Getting onto the property ladder and looking for that first flat to buy is so often fraught with disappointments, and the history of Laura's quest was no different. After falling in love with several flats, Laura was almost giving up when she found a maisonette in her price bracket. Inevitably there was one insurmountable drawback staring Laura in the face: the tiny kitchen. Unsure how to magic more space out of nowhere, she called on the help of her godmother, who is an interior designer.
